I've been playing minecraft for 16 months, when it gets boring I take a day off, and the next day it's all fun again. :B
What doesn't get boring after a while? There's probably nothing exempt from this fateful process. In my 29 years on this Earth I've yet to find something which does not grow less interesting with repetition.
SK, eating as a general process sure - but imagine eating the same thing over and over Sleep cannot be boring (or interesting) as we are unconscious - boredom entails consciousness.
If you get bored with a creativity toy, there isn't much that could be said about it. The point of this game is to give yourself a task, and then try and do it. Maybe it's about making an epic city, or chasing those elusive diamonds... but the point of it all is up to you. I used to watch YouTube vids of MC creations for inspiration on what to build next. I learned how to use redstone and pistons and even had this really cool transforming house at one point. Not possible here, I know, but the point was the learning, and the creating. That's what MC is to me, and why ECC is perfect. Stuff to build, stuff to sell, stuff to level up.
I've only been on the server 2 months. Not many people know me yet, though I would enjoy being able to help out the server as a whole more than I have by being me, or by donating.
Well, I applied. Thanks for the encouragement. Perhaps, if I am accepted, I can help make ECC a more fun place to play.
