I know of the silk touch melon sword, but does a melon axe work? Would a silk touch eff 5 diamond axe work or is that too strong?
Farming melons with axes is disabled though. Farming a melon with a regular axe is already fast enough, and since a full inventory of melons is worth around 5k, this would p much break the economy. With ECC, melons are kind of designed as an endgame sort of crop that you can farm efficiently with the very valuable melon sword.
Unfortunately you need a melon sword to farm axes at any significant speed. Effy5 shovels aren't any quicker then punching melons, so...
