Hello everyone! I have found a nice unpopulated area that has some great mountains, small forests, lakes, etc. Basically I like scenery a lot, and I also like castles! So I'm trying to make an unofficial town of castles and medieval themed village. If anyone also likes medieval themed buildings and would like to come join my town please reply to this post! Every resource will be shared evenly, and thus attended to evenly (replanting crops/replanting forests/helping with mineshafts) We are friendly people willing to share and help! Goals: [X] Build small castle for builders to live in/store goods in [X] Dig mineshaft, for collecting resources [X] Plant forest for harvesting wood [X] Build lumberjacks house [X] Plant crops for wheat/sugar cane [X] Build farmers house [X] Build watch towers on the outskirts of the town to watch for griefers! [X] Build road from East portal to the town so it's easy to find [_] Get 10 members [_] Build a main, big, multi-story castle (further details and plans will be made when I get a team together (5 people at least!)) [X] Build a private room for every member in the main castle [_] Build a shared room/armory/blacksmith room [_] Generate enough money to put it all together and get residency so we can have a portal to our town!! [_] Become an unstoppable force of people and take over the world/server Members IGN: andygrant Exzercys CalamityBlue Blacklist of griefers: - Member benefits: -Access to our shared chest of resources -Access to our chest of tools -Access to our mineshafts -A chance to generate some money via our farms Rules: -Do not steal resources and run off! -Do not grief -Keep mineshaft tidy and well-lit (avoid large drops/provide ladders if you make a large drop) -Collect seedlings and replant the trees after chopping them down! -If you hit water and flood the mine, please plug the hole with a block! -If you take materials from the chest, please do so to benefit our community (ie building more tools or buildings) -Check with me/other members before selling ANY of our materials to other people Courtesy rules: (optional but helpful) -When you log off if you have stacks of materials we could use please place them in the chest in the main building -After a hard day chopping down trees put the wood into the chest in the lumberjacks house -If you find any flowers plant them near our main house as we can sell them later! Directions: -Type /spawn -Take the east portal (far right) -Walk towards the sandy area where you'll see a big wooden building and right beside that is a little entrace that says castle town -Follow that tunnel til you come out the other side and you'll see a big hill with the word castle on top -Go towards that and take the tunnel slightly to the left to cut through the mountain -When you come out of that one take the next tunnel in front of you -pop out just near castle town Some screenshots of the environment: Our little castle: Scenery: Our work area: Mineshaft so far: Screenshots are far out-of-date will get some new ones later

Re: Looking For: Friends to join unofficial castle town! pic Hey, I won't pay you directly but as we farm a lot of resources we can generate revenue like that. This is more of a hobby town where you join if you like the idea rather then join for work. If you're still interested I'll add you to our door permissions and you can use our mineshafts/forests/tools/utilities so long as you build more castles in the local area and help with obvious things such as the bridge we're working on and a half finished big castle I have been farming the sand just nearby and have been selling glass for money! so we got some good little cash makers here. All materials and tools can be found in our chests (edit: the photos need updating there has been much more work achieved!)
Re: Looking For: Friends to join unofficial castle town! pic Blacklists tend to cause drama, and griefers tend to get banned. o: If you like lists, though, you could make a 'whitelist' of people who have helped/donated greatly or something. xD Otherwise, it all looks neat. :3 I kinda like how you have some stuff already planned, and I like the cosiness of the screenshots. xD People tend to make buildings really, really huge. Also, just so I can beat Star to it; you can get clearer screenshots by hitting F1 first, then hitting F2. :3
