I personally believe that they are the greatest gatherers of minerals, and thus they should be allowed in. Another reason for them to be allowed in is to help more of them start out, thus keeping more people in the server. A plus in my opinion If you support, i will start adding names to a list here, sort of like a mini-petition Iwill also add a list of non-supporters. However, i will not add either till i get off this nook and can copy/paste
Re: Builders in Mine world A reason Andrew probably added the mining world to residents+ was probably because resident needs more perks. It gives those builders something you can't donate for on the resident rank.

We'd have to pray we are online when everyone starts xraying like mad. :/ I honestly never want this world to be anything less than Residents+. Hell, even the Residents nowadays are usually idiots... Bad enough they are already making large mistakes and taking advantage of the new world. To be honest, I think Builders should have to really work for Resident. Shows more loyalty to the server, in a sense. Let them farm, explore, get into towns, and learn. Mining World available to them? Jump right in, become anti-social harass players in PvP, get upset by dying and swear everyone out because they "don't know the rules..." I'm against allowing Builders. xP They are pests. No offense to those Builders who are great; but many don't even stay very long. I'm guessing about 3 or 4 out of 10 new users stay for more than a week. All the others will just xray or suck up ores from the world, and never come back. Also, what Monkey said. o-o

Giving builders access lets them rank up faster thus staying onserver, but keeping ot from them gives them incentive to keep playing to see what the extra ore spawning and no town world is like. Well then, what happens if pinnochio says my nose is about to grow? And then i see moofink remind me that the world is not all lollypops and rainbows, and that some people just arent mature enough to handle it thus meaning that only the mature players who gain resident plus would go in preventing them from ragequiting run on sentence. Yes. But the problem is that first of all, you are both 100% right, monkey solving my problem and you dismantling my broken fix, plus the fact that you are a mod. As a president, my opinion has a tiny bit more weight than average person, but a mod can stop people posting without meaning too. Seriously doubt anyone, myself included, would continue to support after that perfect demolition

i was a builder when mining world came out i had been playing for a few months and had about 5k and cept using my money because i had a plot and wasn't bothered about becoming resident. you can become a resident fairly easily i made the 10k that was needed to become resident in the same day mine world was released even though the server was down until 5pm, it is not difficult to become resident it just shows who is actually dedicated to the server..... im just going to say it builder is the noob rank..... when your a builder you shouldn't relay be able to go anywhere good, builders can be irritating and normally end up trying to gang up on you in pvp and eventually end up killing you and fighting over the things that they take from you and you can just kill the last one and get your stuff back...... residents+ need a place were we can have decent battles and the increased ore production gives people that are dedicated enough to the server somewhere to have some high risk high rewards you don't want to many people there (most people are builders) you want a good balance of people who are still trying to get money (residents mining) and people that are there for pvp who will go into mines looking fore the people mining (mayors presidents) allowing builders in would stops people from wanting to rank up.... because really i don't want to become mayor because i wont have donator features like water placement so really mentaining a town would be difficult, but i would become a mayor if i thought i was missing out on something like what i did with resident.... also builders are mostly the worst players... do you really want someone walking round mine world going were am i, how do i get home, can i have some money, ect also you don't want someone repeatedly spamming fu fu fu fu fu fu fu .... also i worked for it so why should someone get given it without having to work for it.... did you really read all that? wow you must be a very patient person :shock:
Maybe builders could only come by invitation by residents+ and they have to be invited every time they want to go on. Also, who wants to make a private fight club arena on the water behind the portal! No armor No weapons No rules
Nolez, valid point. New people often screw up the world because they think mining is profitable. We either need to educate them or isolate them. Former rather than the latter is preferred.

Why let builders in the world for extra mining? They need to learn the foundations before they can start money-making off of something like this, this is something you have to earn, it's a privilege. Plus builders can't even use trading signs to sell these ores that they are getting so what is the point? The last thing we need is MORE people in Auctions :? (which by the way should be it's own separate channel, so people in global chat can't hear auctions..)
