Ok guys, I need help... On December the 7th-8th, our school is having an iPhone App building contest.... itsa_spenca and I are gonna do it, and we need help!!!! We will only have 10 hours to build the most advanced, and visual appealing app, so we need to get a lead... +++We need an idea!!!+++ Basically we need an idea... It can be a game (which would be hard) or a utility app (which I have messed around with before...). We will only have 10 hours to make it, so it will be very difficult to make a heavily programed app... We need an idea for the app, as the prize is $500.....
Its fine, really.. I will have to have full control over all the commands and crap.. Thanks anyway!!!!!
Okiedokie, I'm willing to help in any way I can, I currently have a jailbroken iPad, so I can test whatever u want : D
Im thinking the ECC iphone app...... maybe I can get a start, layout and all, then pm wewin or andrew for all the forum input and all that crap...
:O Maybe a Cregslist style app... but for ECC... The posts in the "For Sale/ Help Wanted" will be added, and users can add/ purchase things directly from their app.. Perhaps even prices on items!!! But I still like the MC chat... maybe we could implement it in the app??
How are apps judged...? I hope content is not a factor, 'cause if many people don't play Minecraft at your school (or teachers judge), then... D: Though, you could make a MC/ECC app with items that can be crossed off, put on a wanted list, ability to put a number in for how much you have, a way to calculate how much they can sell for, etc... Or an app that has summarized info about available apps (res, mayor, etc). And if 10 hours is enough time, you could somehow make it so that you can choose an app and an item(s) and see how many of them you need to sell to achieve said app? /ramble
Developers from Facebook, Rivio Mobile, and the people behind "Cut the Rope" Will judge us on the most dynamic, most advanced (as far as coding), and the best looking..
Do you know how to code cocoa? If you don't, you are kinda out of the running as you need to know that language very well and have a mac to code on
I do, however it is really crusty.. They are having developers from places like Rivio mobile, and Facebook to help us however..... I can make a basic fundamental app, but nothing good.
