    No I don't think it does, would be pretty pointless after all that building.

    There was a poll a few months back about wiping it out and starting over. It was voted down.

    I don't think there are any plans to revisit that anytime soon or I wouldn't be building in the Aether, nor would Videowiz.

    No, the aether is not like the MiningWorld and build warps. The map is permeant.
