Made this thread for others, and myself can discuss suggestions for the Hunger Games. One thing I would like to suggest is adding Custom Maps to the arenas. The current maps are official Hunger Games Maps, however, I think allowing the community to create their own maps, and submit them would be a great addition to the Hunger Games on this server. Of course, I'm all for Donation Features... As long as they're reasonable, meaning fair /kit's and such. What do you think should be brought to the Hunger Games?
+1 for custom maps now... for my own suggestions 1. stat tracking and leaderboards , i know the current plugin we have has stat tracking and leaderboards, so, when we get everything sorted, i'd like to see this added 2. add a reward for winning! the only downside i see to this would be people cheating with hacked clients trying to win monah
I agree with donation kits too as long as they're fair. Also, starving should kill you...they're called the Hunger Games after all. Message Update: Also, I have forgotten all the times I played what arena I was in, so there should be like an auto channel assigner, instead of having to type /ch sg#, just type /ch sg and it automatically directs you to your arena channel. Typing can be a risk in these events... Not sure if any of you forget it too though. :/
I'd like to see more arenas for sure. Even though I'm sure it won't be this crowded in the future, a few more would be nice. Custom maps would be awesome! Hunger should kill you as well :3
Heres my list: #1 Add bows, On the 3 maps I've played on I have not seen anyone with a bow nor have I picked up or found a bow. #2 Smaller Maps, The maps are huge maybe have a smaller map that doesn't hold as much people. #3 I'm not sure if this is possible but it would be cool to have stats such as: K/D Wins and losses etc. Other then that the hunger games is very enjoyable :]
Make a time limit of like 30 minutes, after that have players teleported to spawn and make them duke it out. If they don't, a total time limit of 45 minutes, at which point the round ends.
I don't think any donation features should be added to the survival games. You can't have a 'fair' kit, any kit gives an advantage over other players.
Remove the SG chat channels. No one uses them. Local can reach all the way, and the color hurts my eyes..
Make a single /ch sg I am in the middle of making a map and pictures will be posted in the next month or so.
I think it would be great to add where you maybe have to pay to get into one of the arenas, and in this arena you could get a reward for winning. Maybe the buy in could be around 1k, then a 15-20% tax, and the winner from there gets the rest. I don't think all should be a buy-in based arena as many builders will want to play without paying their hard earned money.
