How will ECC cope with the new update?

I would assume most blocks are going to be implemented, but I think rabbits are going to be a pet, wet sponges won't become the result of water touching it, and something I would think be done about the melon thing.

My only opinion is that the new stones should be worth more than normal stone, but not as much as quartz.

 

They're not going to be THAT rare. So no, I would assume that they will be cheaply priced.

 

i mean watch antvenom's copy collect. he sees those blocks EVERYWHERE.

 

I personally hate the new update.

• 1. Bunnies look ugly, why doesn't Mojang use the look of the bunny from Dr Zharks Mo' Cratures ?
• <- Its so adorable, isn't it?
• 2. The new blocks are just simply confusing and unnecessary.
• These are just my opinions.

I have to agree with stoler, not with the bunnies, but with the blocks. We have 2 stone-like item with textures, cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. With these new blocks being implemented, there will be a lot more room for creativity and designing. Also, with the armor stands (should they be allowed) add for even more decor. There's nothing wrong with the new update.

 

Lets hope we can make some great money from the new types of blocks.

 

Also I am testing 1.8 out right now with the ecc text.pack and in my opioin needs a green and yellow version i would do it myself but idk how to do it.

 

I honestly don't think anyone will make any money off of these couple new blocks. You kind of find them literally everywhere.

 

Well maybe they would be worth up to 20 cents

 

The new stone types that have been introduced have me split in opinion.

Whilst I embrace the additional textures from a creative view, I can't help but wonder why we are limited to only the raw and polished full blocks of these three new stone types. As we can make slabs and stairs from the other types, and even the wood blocks have become more versatile with regard to retaining the respective textures when used in doors, fences etc.

As for value, currently they are in more than abundant supply and unless their generation is tweaked in ECC, and until Mojang allows the crafting of slabs, stairs etc from these new stone blocks, value wise I do not see them being valued in any way to boost ones bank account significantly.
