    Wild homes are the most griefed. Sometimes, you need a little more room without paying money. But wild is just so unsecure. Well this is how to protect your wild home. First, you always want to make your house underground. Go far away from the wild spawn. Dig down about 5-10 blocks and fill in the hole. Never leave holes in your hose. Torchelight can leak out, attracting griefers like moths. PROTECT EVERYTHING. This cannot be stressed enough. use /cprivate from my other guide and protect your chests, furnaces etc. Leave no trace. if you are building in a field, don't have the area around you be dirt and place a cobblestone. Blend in with your surroundings.

    Hope this helped, leave feedback for more

    This was the best idea I ever heard to protect your house from wild grief, put Furnaces on ALL 4 SIDES OF YOUR HOUSE but put them every other block. So lets say X represents a furnace and W for a wooden plank it would look like,

    EXAMPLE

    X W X W X W X W X W X
    W X W X W X W X W X W
    X W X W X W X W X W X

    So on and so on but make sure you lock all the furnaces. This will assure that even if they break all the wooden planks they wont be able to get in. MAKE SURE YOU PUT FURNACES ON THE TOP AND BOTTOM TOO, They can dig under or go through the top if you don't. The top and bottom is an exception though you will need to make your whole roof/floor furnaces. You can also do this with chests or signs, but with sign you will need to put them on the TOP of your roof on the outside and on the floor. Also I prefer to use /lock its easier.

    I hope this help everyone from getting griefed!!!!! :D :D

    Night, there is a flaw in your plan, though. They could dig under, dig out the wooden plank above them, and build up.

    Think Night
    X=furnace
    W=Wood

    X W X W X W X W X W X
    W X W X W X W X W X W
    X W X W X W X W X W X

    Say that's your roof/floor. I could simply walk on top/under of all of that and break one wood, im in :p

    He said the WHOLE roof and floor is made of furnaces and not in the wood-furnace pattern.

    New idea! Put your town so deep underwater no one will bother to swim down there!

    Tested: Some results 4/10 times was griefed, therefore, decent way to put your house.

    Dig down three blocks (underwater), and place dirt above you, then expand out.

    Perhaps building around the highest layers, because most people have there render distance on short or tiny, they will never find it ; )

    Why do people even need a home in the wild? Just buy a cheap plot from someone. Or you could just do all 4 votes and have 1k. That can buy you a 10x10.

    Not sure if this has been mentioned already but:

    If you are hiding your home in the wild, do NOT use cobblestone to cover up any entrances/exits/etc. Cobblestone is not naturally found in the wild except in dungeons. Cobble in a 1x2 or bigger section is a dead giveaway that someone has been there and is probably trying to hide something.

    Haha well yes true. Just cover your tracks with naturally occurring blocks is all I was saying.
