How to Find Parrots! (and a General Request Thread)

    Hello. I am making this thread with Paragon_OfVirtue to help out with the flood of requests and questions regarding parrot hunting and how to find them.

    Here are some tips we have gathered:
    1. Turn on F3 > you should find a section that says E:0/(some number). This is your entity counter, the first number being how many entities are in your line of sight, and the second being how many are in your general vicinity.
    2. If you're playing on 1.12, there should be an option under Music and Sounds to turn on subtitles, turn them on. This should help to alert you to parrot chirps if you're not an attentive listener (like me).

    Below, people who want parrots should leave their names if they want, a specific color (no guarantees, though).
    Also, message Paragon_OfVirtue, as they are doing a lot more work and have found loads of success helping people find parrots.

    I am in need of a grey parrot, a dark blue parrot, and a lime green parrot. I already have 3 parrots, so you can concentrate on other people who have no parrots at all. I am mostly looking for grey parrots at the moment. Thanks!

    Edit: No longer need a grey parrot because of @Paragon_OfVirtue 's amazing parrot finding skills!
    Only dark blue and lime green to go!

    2nd Edit: No longer need a green parrot! Found one this morning! All I need now is a dark blue!

    Parrots can also move through different worlds, if they are sitting on your shoulder.

    Do not feed them cookies.

    I would like a parrot or a tp to a jungle so I can find one. Is it better to look in jungles in mining or rising/legacy?

    I have found a parrot in a legacy jungle, but I think you would have better chances in the mining jungle.

    Okay, so talk to me about parrots. Are they a new animal that is like horses, or do they have to be made for you? I assume you go to a jungle to find them, but can they be anywhere? How do you catch them?

    In need of any parrot!! i found two but didnt know they despawned without nametags and got v sad haha. #1 choice would be a red one but any would make me happy :D
