I just began using an Eff 7 pickaxe and I was wondering how everyone else uses it. I am digging a 2x3 tunnel at y=11 at the moment and I make about 10k an hour. I do not mine coal. I was told you can make 25k an hour. So I want to try different strategies that other people post. Thanks!
I spam around wildly or use a 2x2 tunnel. Use a fort3 on coal, and fortune ores at the end. I get 20k per hour with exp.
I'm telling you that you miss a lot of stuff not mining coal. Don't know how many times I mined up coal a person ignored to find diamonds, emeralds, iron, gold or other things.
I either go 2x1 tunnel, with speed 7, or if you don't have speed, I suggest just spreay mining... which is basicly like just breaking blocks almost like 10x2 wide. Y:11
If you spray mine out huge areas, you get the added bonus of creepers spawning! I mine all around coal, but usually leave it behind. I also do not take the time to collect and sell smooth stone unless I need it for a project.
5*2 tunnel at y:11 at speed 4.5 if its too fast for you start at 3 and of course don't mine the coal if its not on your way and keep the super breaker for those moments, if you need a demonstration pm me in game
dont organisedly mine just run and hold click down skip coal as it is not worth you time to mine. try and mine at y11 if you can but when you are spamming around the clicking sometimes you get off track. make sure to fort 3 all ur ores at the end in the mining world so you get xp. if you need help or have any questions feel free to pm me in game and i can advise you or show you.
