Ok so there has been some greifing of others peoples small farms in my town, so as mayor I give them 3 days to get there stuff and leave and if they do not then I get to remove them from the town and take it down myself? Also a second question... if a person in my town is banned can I take down there plot right away? or do I need to wait a certain amount of days for them to appeal the ban? Thanks! ~New mayor Pdegnan1(CALL ME PAUL)
Hey Paul, Mk, let's get into it. To answer the first question, so long as you've given the player a 3 day warning in advance, and they still have not removed their items, you have complete rights to remove them from your town and file an LWC Removal to get the locks on their chests/doors removed. Keep in mind, if you're not kicking a player for inactivity, you will want to take screenshots of you PM'ing/Mailing the player you want to kick. Without those, you won't be able to file an LWC as staff won't remove locks without evidence of you warning the player in advance or 7+ days of inactivity. A good tip is that players don't need to have perms to your town to remove locks and items. So, if the player has griefed your town, I recommend that you remove them from the region immediately, and then give them 3 days to remove their locks/items from their chests. You're generally the one who destroys the previous owner's house, but you can ask the player to do it too. Second Question: No, if the user is banned you have to wait a full 7 days after the ban has been applied to remove their items. This means the user has to go 7 days without making a successful Ban Appeal before you can legally file LWC's and take their stuff. Hope that helped, good luck with your town!
