Do you like to fish? Is fishing in your blood? Is there just something special about the bobber splashing that sends your adrenaline into overdrive? If you said yes to any of those then you will want to take part in the HubDocks first fishing tournament! The tournament will run from 7/27/19 12:01 AM until 8/10/19 12:01 AM. How it works: Upon entry a stack of sell chests will be created for you, you simply fish at hub docks and sell your fish to your chests. On 8/10/19 at 12:01 AM all chests will be emptied and a winner will be picked. The winner will be the person who caught the most fish. 1st place: 10.00 store giftcard, and a water plot at hubdocks (hubdock plots will never be sold) Random prizes will also be given at random times during the event to those online and actively fishing at the docks. To get to the docks simply do /warp hubdocks Be sure to message me so we can set up your personal sale chests, if you sell your items to someone else's chests then theirs nothing I can do about it.
@samiwarbler @Fon_ You are both now added to the perms of the town for the duration of the event. Sell chests are very visible and are under the sea laterns. To clarify a few things for everyone else... These chests are buying at 30% over for the duration of the tournament. I'm not ripping you off by not buying your fish...for those who thought that.
Fishing tournament is going well! I’m actually thinking of ending it on 8/3/19 instead of 8/10/19. For those who haven’t been hanging out at the docks you guys are missing out. I’ve given away over 20 nstars at random points to people fishing there. If the fishing continues to be strong this week I will end the tournament on 8/3/19 and perhaps revamp a few things and start another one soon! Looks like the hub might be sponsoring biweekly events from here on out!
Just to confirm I will be ending this tournament on 8/10/19. I’m going to try to end it as close to 12:01 AM as possible but I am traveling for work on Friday which could result in an overnight stay out of town.
So just to be clear, it's the person who caught the most number and not how much the overall is worth?
