Fishing from a slab prevents being poisoned, but still allows fish to caught. Now, from where I am Moderating/coding.....I would call this a clever use of mechanics, and not change it because no one is using anything illegal, or bypassing any in game rules. But, I will leave this up to the powers of this realm.
