Minecraft Username: zorracraft Brief Description: fishing mobs removes hunger even with feed+ and fishing on the same spot for 2-5 times stops giving fish Instructions: fish mobs or normal fish and you will see this messages How many times did you recreate this?: 10+ Result: having to move to fish/reducing hunger Expected Result: able to keep fishing on the same spot and not reducing hunger bar Evidence:
This has to do with mcMMO's new fishing detections. I'll alert @nossr50 and see what's going on here.
This part is normal, its part of the new anti-afk fishing detection. All you need to do to avoid overfishing is fish 3~ or so blocks away from your last fishing location. This is just to prevent people from setting up autoclickers and getting ez loot. I'll look into shake removing hunger inappropriately, but that part is for anti-spam click protection, I'll see if its too aggressive though.
LOL All you have to do for legit fishing is fish in a slightly different spot after a few tries, whats so hard about that? That you can't do it while AFK?
Having to move every few catches makes me lose efficiency and therefore money i am surprise i have to say this at all, after all this server is economy based, its almost like having to move land to farm crops because the soil is infertile to combat auto farm bots.
I DON'T KNOW THIS! i thought i had to move a few blocks! i can fish just fine moving the mouse between reel and a cast, the only thing i ask is make the grey message more visible maybe purple or something the grey is hard to see
Because there was zero info on this change, andrew update and boom now you need to do stuff to keep fishing. No news post, no forum update, no discord update, we are left to figure out how to properly fish, i have seen mods ingame provide the wrong information to players on how to keep fishing saying they need to move blocks too
I didn't deem it necessary to make an entire news post on the fact you have to move while fishing. It's pretty self explanatory and easy to figure out. Regarding the other part of the bug report, if @nossr50 makes changes on the shake removing hunger part of this, I'll upload it during our next maintenance period.
