    Suggestion: Fix Exploit

    Reason: It's An Exploit

Any Other Information: If you place a bed close enough behind a lock door and its nighttime you can bypass the locked door! You can do so buy clicking on the door then Immediately click on the bed. You then click leave bed and it will place you next to the bed but passed the lock door!

Basically using the mechanics of the wooden door toggling to click the bed behind it and use the object in this instance the bed. This bug also works with lifts and other things. Solution: use iron doors, does not suffer the lag issue where the door remembers it is meant to be locked and then closes.

I'm guessing the same could be done with boats and minecarts?

This is a minecraft issue, because wooden doors aren't meant to be locked, so your client still opens the doors then the server tells the client it's closed again, but there's a couple of Milliseconds of delay, in which you can enter the bed.
This works with anything that you can mount.

I also know of another way to bypass doors, whether they are iron or wood, which is why I used trapdoors for extra security at the entrance to my labyrinth. As with the above issue, it is a problem with Minecraft itself, and not specific to ECC.

The reason I mention it is to warn you... if you want an entrance to be TOTALLY secure, doors are not currently the answer. Hopefully Mojang will at some point fix the issue I am thinking of.

How would iron doors be any different then wooden doors in that case?

Iron doors normally need a current to open, hence clicking them does not open them, you would need to click a lever. The millisecond which kuke discusses happens here but as the door does not usually react to being clicked nothing comes of it.
