Hello! Killrdarknes here with another fun idea If you've never heard of geocaching, it's essentially an easter egg hunt that is city-wide, and requires solving of clues. I'd like to test this idea to see if it would work. I will release the coordinates of the general area and the clues you'll need to solve the entirety of the puzzle. At the end awaits you a chest you can place/take items from. Usually IRL, this is substituted by some hidden container and a log of who's been in the chest. I'll be placing a book in there that will allow you to place your name and date in the book. I might also put a nice gift in there for the first discoverer; feel free to add one as well! However, due to the nature of geocaching usually being hidden in relatively random areas, this geocache is not in a town, and requires the breaking of a block. Therefore, I really, really dearly ask that you PLEASE DO NOT GRIEF/use a backdoor to gain immediate access to the end. This test will be built on trust; please be respectful of others. I'll be checking logs (I have investigator) to see if/who is breaking in and they will be banned from participating in any competitions I may host in towns that use this idea. Regardless, here is the test! Your starting coordinates are: -4866 42 -11386 in Rising. There will be a dchest of Water Breathing potions in case you don't have Water+ DO NOT BRING ANY ITEMS YOU WOULDN'T LIKE TO LOSE. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS. Your first entrance clue is: It sure is coald down here. Your second clue is: Santa Is Negative Noting Egregious Regifters. Good luck ECC'rs! (please replace block(s) broken)
I love this! Even though I didnt get the original prize I love the idea!! The person who won took the log book so I didn't get to drop a name, but I dropped some goodies in there for the next person, that should be emphasized . Also, I think maybe for the next one you could do it in Mining so less people have fly and it will be more of a competition
I have been working on a map in single player creative for Geocaching, can't wait to try this one out!
