Introduction: Dormphood is the Capital city of the Royal Praetorian Sanctum, a nation consisting of 13 cities, each individually owned and run by unique mayors. There is a very loose central government between the cities, but enough to keep us united without bogging us down with national rules and regulations.

Dormphood itself used to be one of the most active cities in the server. Consistent growth and progress was a main goal - until we lost activity. Due to the fact that I was on vacation for a month, that same goal of consistency didn't keep up (I'm not blaming anyone, I expected it) and the city has become quite unpopulated. It's my goal, now that I'm back, to bring the city to #1 in activity. We're planning to reconstruct 3/4 of the city, flattening most of it and reconstructing it in a grid that allows for "Mini-mayors" to help run the city.

Explanation: The city is going to be divided into four sections. Each one will be run by a "Mini-mayor" or a co-mayor under me. Their responsibility is to fill every plot with a player, and to demolish homes of inactive players. Without going into much detail, the system will easily bring us into activity again.

    Joining the City

Step One: Speak to one of the following In-Game:
    - Xacheiree
    - Mrcreeper55
    - Cannondude17
    - Lubash12

Step Two: Choose an apartment or Plot.

    Pricing:
    - Apartments: Free
    - 9x9: $500*
    - 20x20: $5,000
    - 40x40: $15,000

*You can buy more than one 9x9, but the price increases per extra plot.

Step Three: Have a mini-mayor add you to the town.

    Step Four: Follow the Rules.

    Step Five: Enjoy!

City Rules: We have some rules that few people will have a problem with. They are few and simple, and most of them are pretty obvious. The aesthetic rules are simply that: For aesthetics. Xach's rules are rules when speaking to me or one of the other mayors. They're just simple rules to help keep things going smoothly. I know they seem restrictive, but they're really not. You'll find a lot of freedom in Dormphood.

    Obvious Rules:
    - No Griefing
    - No Stealing
    - No Lying
    - Don't be Immature
    - No serious trolling
    - No Scamming

    Aesthetic Rules:
    - 15 block height limit
    - No basements
    - No Cobblestone except in very limited use
    - No log buildings (purely logs)
    - No plank buildings (purely planks)
    - No buildings built out of Ore or Precious blocks (Too many complaints when they get stolen)
    - No SHOPS in residential plots

    Xach's Rules:
    - Don't ask to be a co-mayor or mini-mayor
    - Don't ask if you can build roads or gardens or parks or whatnot
    - Don't ask if you can use the arena for personal use or for arena events
    - Don't complain (I do not tolerate this at ALL. Complaining will get you a near-immediate eviction.)
    - Do not pester me

    Joining the Nation

    Step One: Speak to Xacheiree

Step Two: He will explain how it works in game. Tuh duh!

What if we already had a plot? I had a rather large plot that was completely griefed and/or flattened. I believe it was a 20x20 and total price was $16K.

In that case, you will most likely get a new plot in the town for free. It may be even larger, but I am not totally sure. In the meantime, I will bring it up with Xacheiree.

I will contact Xacheiree. We may be able to let you keep your plot. There is no gurantee, but the good part is that if you lose your current plot, you will get another 40x40 for free just in a different area. Since the town is being split up into sections, I am not sure that you will get to keep the plot in that area.

It will cost nothing. If we do have to remove it, you will still get a 40x40 in return. You get to keep all materials. Also, we have labeled each plot that we are going to demolish first. Your plot is not on that list. If I have heard correct from Xacheiree, you will get to keep your plot. Oh and you are on our "Active member" list. Therefore I do believe that you ARE keeping your plot.

We apologize that you did not get a notification. There were so many members to notify at the time. I will make a note of it, and you will get a free 20x20 in return. As for your second question, I am directing this to Xacheiree.

First off, just clear up a definition....Griefing is destroying with the intent to troll, discourage, or "attack" another player or server. This wasn't griefing, just simply the first step for a better city.

Anyone who was noticeably active in the town was warned before demolition. If you were not, then I can't really appease you much. You bought a plot in a town, built something, then never came back. Our town's plans are a bit bigger than whatever you may have built. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just naturally blunt. I greatly appreciate the creativity and the ingenuity you all provided.

However, it is necessary, with a few exceptions, that the buildings be removed. If you were inactive in the town, then, again, bluntly, you're not the kind of player we're looking for.

" Mayors may remove anyone from their town for any reason. However, if they were not removed due for grief or failure to pay for their plot, the Mayor must give them a chance to retrieve their building materials and items from the town. "

Straight from the wiki. If you didn't get your materials back, we will provide them. I'm glad to give you back what was yours. If you would like another plot mirroring the size of your original plot, send me a PM in the forums, and I'll make sure you get it.
