~Defend The Base!~

Hello!
I am proud to announce the third of our April events. Defend the Base!

What is it?:
This event is where you will team up with someone, be it your friend, mate, buddy, enemy or frenemy, whatever and battle against up to three other teams to defend your base!
When?:
Tuesday at 5pm EST!
Defend the Base will be hosted on MainEast!

You and your teammate will be armed with Iron Armor, Weapons and Tools provided in the arena and your objective is to destroy the other team's bases whilst defending your own.
The last base standing, that is has remaining blocks of the structure wins the match!
During the match you will be armed with:

Punch 1 Bow
10 spectral arrows
1 poison arrow
Iron Pickaxe
Iron Axe
Iron Sword
Plenty of food

Rules:
No /back use
Do not bring in outside items, everyone needs to use the items provided in the arena
Have good sportsmanship
Violation of these rules will result in a DQ for your team from the game.

How it all works:
When the event begins each team will be given a /warp, this is your re-spawn point. This is also how you will get back into the game when you die. The warp-points are team specific and only team-members will be able to warp in.
Keep inventory and keep exp will be enabled so you won't need to worry about losing your exp or kitting back up, just get right back into the game!
McMMO, Fly and cheats are disabled in the arena. It will be a total level playing field.
As it is hosted on a Main server the pvp mechanics will be 1.9 pvp.
You will not be able to place blocks to rebuild your base. Be sure to defend it from the griefers!
Remember, the objective is to be the last base standing!
Elimination:
You are eliminated from the game upon your next death when your base is completely destroyed!
Rights to your warp are removed when you're eliminated!​

There are multiple arenas with 4 bases set on it. Each base has a color assigned to it. Just before the event you will receive your color and arena assignment.
Each arena is built to house 4 teams in a 4x4 match, I have prepared enough arena's for 16 teams and can take more if needed. We'll see how sign-ups go.
Team size will be max of 2 players, find a friend to play this event with.

Due to how many teams I can host in an arena(max 4 per arena) there will be a first round of everyone participating. The last team standing in each arena game will compete again against the winners of the other arenas. Places will be determined by elimination order. The last base standing will get 1st place, the base to go before that will be 2nd and so on.
If I have more than 4 finalists teams the the teams to finish their prelim games last will compete for a place in the top 4 competition

Prizes:
1st Place: $40 GC or $400k ECD and Event Medal
2nd Place: $30 GC or $300k and Event Medal
3rd Place: $20 GC or $200k ECD and Event Medal

Sound like fun? I certainly hope so. This game has been run and tested by our own Staff members and they have confirmed that it is a lot of fun to play!
