IGN: Cardinal3 Users Involved in this Contract: @bwink66 General Purpose of Contract: Sale and transfer of an Eff7 Pickaxe I (the contract initiator) agree to the following terms, and agree that my failure to complete such terms will result in a breach of contract, as outlined in Rule 3: I agree to transfer my star pickaxe (Eff7, unbr3, silk1) to @bwink66 as soon as the contract is approved. The other user(s) involved with this contract must agree to the following terms: @bwink66 agrees to pay the amount of $100,000 once the star pickaxe is received. Following this, @bwink66 will pay $800,000 additionally (on top of the $100k to total 900k) to a sign located in the town Fairview located at X= -8570 Y= 65 Z=-1690 (Sign) This payment of 800k will be due by May 17, 2015. For every day the payment is late, $5,000 will be added onto the total payment. If there is any issue regarding the due date, it must be communicated to me and I will decide on allowing extensions where no additional fee will take place. If no extension is provided, @bwink66 will be held responsible for the late payments up to 10 additional days following the due date. After 10 additional days where the payment is not met, a complaint will be filed against @bwink66 for breach of contract. This will take into effect once the contract is approved. I agree that the terms in this contract are subject to all of EcoCityCraft's rules, including the rules listed specifically in this forum. I understand that the contract may be affected by future changes in EcoCityCraft rules and server updates, and I accept that due to the possibility of such changes, this contract may be at my own risk. I understand that the contents of this contract are subject to staff assessment, review and approval before it is a binding contract under EcoCityCraft rules. Hello @Cardinal3, there are a few changes I will need to be made in order for this contract to be accepted. I agree to transfer my star pickaxe (Eff7, unbr3, silk1) to @bwink66. Can you specify when you will transfer the pickaxe to @bwink66? Make sure to include either a date and time, or specify a time frame after this contract is approved. Additionally, can you make sure that "@bwink66" is tagged properly? Thanks in advance. After this is done, @bwink66 will have to re-agree again. Left unlocked for 24 hours, awaiting responses.
Yes. That seems to be the problem with the contract system these days. Takes too long. That's the reason I took screenshots in game too so we wouldn't have to worry about issues like this. Contracts don't guarantee anything as good as screenshots do. I have at the bottom of the contract "This will take into effect once the contract is approved" Is this not sufficient enough? I have not edited anything yet.
If you have already done the trade this serves no purpose, as contracts taken into effect after the trade has been done will not help the process incase of a complaint situation. Would you like me to lock this instead? Additionally, we want all contracts to be as specific as possible, because we do not want any loopholes, if possible, to be taken advantage of.
