Felon Username: andrewkm (yes, this is a real complaint) Complaint: The town of Peace got griefed to the point that it looks like a warzone and there's pretty much no way to restore it back to how it was before. Several people's (including mine) places have been damaged so severely that they are barely a skeleton of what they were in the past. When this was reported, the user "silent_shadowz" was banned, but a rollback (damages equating to well over $50K) was denied, and a reason wasn't given. Apparently, andrewkm went through Peace and "something caught his eye" and the rollback was denied. No reasons, no anything, just "move on" and that's it. I originally thought that grief damage over $7.5K tends to grant a rollback, and while this might not always happen, the amount of damage (and hence, time, effort and money lost) done to Peace would be due a rollback. Evidence: http://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/ban-appeal.71060/ http://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/grief-report.71072/ Pretty much the entire town of Peace. Additional Information: I was patient in waiting for information at first, at least a reason why we were denied a rollback, and it seems some other people in town are just willing to accept this insult and move on. I'm not, I want a reason why andrewkm feels that he shouldn't rollback the town, especially when a "protected town" is supposed to be just that, rather than saying that "something caught his eye and he can't say what it was". I honestly feel insulted by this, and want to know if something is going to be done about this situation. I'm not sitting around, waiting for an answer through the mayor of the town or other sources any more.
Andrew cannot release how he decides to deny rollbacks due to security resasons, and this was one of those situations where he had to deny it. There's nothing we can do, and there must be a very valid reason for andrew to deny it. I'm sorry, but if you want more information, the best thing for you to do is to pm andrewkm directly, or just accept it and build back up. Locked.
