Felon Username: rockboy2000 Complaint: Scamming Evidence: rockboy2000 wanted to buy my maxed bow for 5k. He sent me a dollar to "see if it would go to me". I only had screenshots of the original transaction so I was just about to give up when he started messaging me trying to explain what happened. Here are the screenshots. Here is proof I had the bow in the first place. Here in this first screenshot, is him asking for the bow first. His "reasons" for why I should give the bow first. Him telling me that he paid. He sent me a screenshot of him sending me the 5k... Read additional info This is after the transaction, when he tp's me back to him so he could "explain" One problem with this is that he says "I payed you 5k, and you gave me the bow" Except he told me to give the bow first. Which is what happened. ( Screenshot 1 shows that I had the bow, Screenshot 2 I do not ) Here is the PM screenshot I recieved from him. Additional Information: Before this transaction happened, he paid me a dollar to "make sure it would go to me". I thought about posting a complaint as soon as it happened, but due to the lack of screenshot I had to prove he paid me a dollar, I knew it was useless. Until he started PMing me trying to "explain", which is where I caught him. I believe he had edited his screenshot, changing the $1 to $5000.
Hello, here is my evidence that I paid and of our agreement. http://imgur.com/xyEkc9h,0br5Xhh,0KlS4o3,RQHZgmd,etENySM,Z4ly347 I would pay him $5000 for a maxed out bow, Power 5, Infinity 1, Punch 2, Flame 1, Unbreaking 3 bow. He gave me the bow and I paid. I placed it away safely, when he pmed me saying he didn't get the money and that I scammed him. I was surprised so told him to scroll up, check the previous chat. He could not find it so to settle it I showed him my screenshot of me paying him. And left it at that. He accused me of editing the $1 I paid him from earlier and continued to throw accusations at me with no proof, as you can see that screenshot in which I paid him $1 and the one in which I paid $5000 are completely different. I simply asked him if I could pay him $1 as I have experience of paying 2 people with similar names the same amount and have lost money to it. Therefore as a precaution I pay them before hand $1 simply to check, rather than paying them the full amount and end up paying double when someone else receives the money as well. For all it is worth, I have no complaints against me and have never been banned for scamming. My evidence proves conclusively that he is either lying or simply doesn't believe I paid him despite what I have showed him.
After looking over all the evidence, rockboy has sent you the agreed amount of money. In his screenshot, which is the same screenshot he sent you, it clearly shows the payment being sent to you and has not been edited. There has been no rule breach since payment has been made. If either of you need anything else, feel free to PM a mod in game on or the forums. Payment sent and received, complaint dismissed. Locked.
