What guarantees can you make about the contents of each chest? Do you have any proof that this isn't a major scam? What kind of items can we expect in the chests? Why would anyone bid when there's zero guarantees about it. It just looks like a scam trying to cash in on minewars success.
Listing down the contents of each chest (but not telling players which chest obviously) can help bring credibility to the event and bring more sales. Then at the end, when people bid on random chests, they can verify if the contents were received. For example: Chest #1: - Max Pick - 10$ giftcard - Melon Sword or something like that. And you can obviously scramble the location of the chests and stuff so people wont know whats inside until they win it
I can personally guarantee in all chests there is, - 1x Msword - 1x $20 ECC giftcard - 42x Melon - 16x Nstars - 4x random enchanted books - 10x player head - 1x enchanted sword + more coming @kukelekuuk, @LaggyTryHard
So these have a value of below 2mil in total, and you want to say... Not really sure how this is gonna work..
There is a reason why storage wars died on old main. Too many people “scammed” chests to make fast money by skirting along a semi-gray area in the rules (meaning it is legal, but scummy, like taking from an unlocked chest). Personally, I don’t trust anyone who runs these unless it is an official staff run event. And no offense, by stating that they have a 3mil minimum for each chest when the max prize is worth less than 2mil raises many red flags.
Yeah, no. Demanding bids only on a thread when players are addressing some serious concern raises even more red flags, especially when your first response is anger. It’s not a good way to get bidders bud.
Why would anyone in their right mind bid 500k on a chest? Seriously? And why would there even be a minimum price or nobody wins. That’s really dumb and a huge turn off for anyone even thinking of bidding.
