I have a weird situation which I'm gonna give you steps for Go mining Smelt some iron and gold ore Right click the ingots into a pv Repeat those 3 steps The new iron and gold won't actually stack, upon opening your vault again they will be in new stacks
@Nicit6 can you try using the recipe book with those items. I believe this is related to the bug I found.
I believe I have experienced the same issue, but didn't pay that close of attention to. It seems to happen with other items once in a while as well. I will try to document and add to this as it happens.
This has happened to me with smelting cobble into stone and then trying to stack them in a chest or my inventory. It doesn’t happen all the time, matter of fact I think it’s happened to me twice and with only cobble I smelted to stone.
Has happened to me dozens of times most frequently with smelted items (iron, gold, etc.) but also has happened with other ores on occasion (coal, redstone, etc.) Also using /stack fixes this problem during these situations.
@Nicit6 @Jdawger @AdmiralD @Ladyvamptress @techy88 I have no idea what you're all talking about. I will need a video from you to see exactly what you are doing. If you can't make a video, ask someone who can. Reproduction steps from @Nicit6 are not working for me nor are they clear at all.

Still happening for me. If you try to combine smelted items with items you have in another inventory they won't stay stacked after you exit the ui, it will seperate into 2 stacks of the same item, sometimes even dropping the items on the ground. Even seems to affect the items ability to be used in the craftbook. Tried to use /smelted cobble(stone) to make stonebricks and it wouldn't autofill the crafting grid.
This is still a problem smelted items wont stack and cannot be crafted using the crafting book this is a serious Pain when mining to make netherbrick for example to manually put 100s of stacks Into the crafting table.. same with Glass stone iron gold and items that has been smelted with /smelt dont stack with other of the same items like 2 and 5 ingots Will not stack to 7 they break appart to 2 and 5 again and if u have no room u drop it
We need to get video footage of it happening. Also you can use /stack to temporarily get around the stacking problem.
Real sorry about the quality.. first video shows bugs when trying to craft with smelted stone.. try to get rid of certain stacks and use /stack command but it ends up not wanting to craft using recipies book at all.
I am willing to make vids of whatever interactions you need to see.. This is just a Very annoying bug it costs me alot of time that shouldnt be spent manually placing things to craft and possibly crafting irreversible Wrong items out of potentially valuable blocks
@FrailDK Which server is this happening on? Main or SkyBlock? If it's broken in SkyBlock, please switch to main and let me know if it's broken in Main as well. If it's broken in Main, please switch to SkyBlock and let me know if it's broken in SkyBlock as well. As well, please test this in VMR.
This is broken in main. Can do a test om skyblock later as i cant Remember. Almost sure the thing persists there too. But Ill confirm im later. Eehm.. is smelt a thing in vmr?
I've reproduced the bug and have added it to our development todo list, which we should be getting to this week.
@Nicit6 @Jdawger @AdmiralD @techy88 @Ladyvamptress @FrailDK This should now be fixed. Please confirm. We actually had to re-code the entire smelter plugin ground up basically to get this working right as it was on a very old code base. This should also now fix basically any other smelter bugs that existed in the past.
