Well dang I’ve been a member without knowing I guess, been selling diamonds for $90 for a while now. People still buy them at that price; they just take a little longer to sell then the 20 dollar ones. I think the extra 60 dollar profit per diamond is worth the extra sell time. To contribute, my spawn trade shop sign has 2 diamonds for 180 and it has been there for months (I just added a 2nd sign in my Wall Street tower). I still sell 2 diamonds every few days, slowly but surely. RagMan

You could essentially have someone store them to lessen the supply (without destroying them). As an example: Lets say that I have a town and I will create a vault. In the vault I will place sectioned off double chests. Each person will be allowed to enter, lock their chest, and fill it with diamond blocks. As the only one with permission I would wall off the chests so no one has access to them. Once you store your diamonds, your agreeing that they stay locked up until the price of diamonds hits a certain level (agreed upon at the time of storage). At that time you can withdraw a set number or a percentage of your diamonds to sell. As the price reaches higher and higher levels you'll be allowed to withdraw more and more of your diamonds to sell. As you accumulate more diamonds you can also add them to your vault, but you will not be permitted to remove diamonds you have in storage. It's not as drastic as tossing them in lava, it does take some trust between players, as well as the understanding of the agreement that a week later you cant come crawling back begging for access to your diamonds because you lost a lotto. If the rules are set and followed, the supply should dwindle and prices will rise. RagMan
