To all the residents of Carnitine, Your Mayor announced here that he would be closing Carnitine on the 31st of January due to the continuous griefs, and we have since started an anti-closure campaign owned by the Residents of Carnitine. xX3PICREBELXx has stated that if enough support was given, the town can be remained open. Our campaign: why we urge that Carnitine remains open: Carnitine is one of the main towns in Ecocitycraft, thanks to its vast amounts of members, all of which range from poor residents to the wealthy Welikeike22. This resulted in a boom for Carnitine, and we can see how much it's expanded in "/rg info Carnitine". But with every town comes a problem, and griefers have recently been raging the residents, with tons of reports filed. But this is Carnitine, one of the greatest towns in Ecocitycraft. It's one of the central towns - everyone has heard of it. Why should it close down? Carnitine closing is like Los Angeles being bombed. Ecocitycraft, like the world, could not be the same. So what do we suggest? Firstly, that every resident stands and does their part. This is a New Carnitine we're wanting - a better, greater Carnitine. We want better regulations and thorough control on griefing, and griefs to be reported as soon as possible. The reason Carnitine is closing is because the residents of it did not do their parts - we have not been "residents", we have been "observers". We want every one of us to stand in arms to griefers and report griefs. We want better control on who has permissions in Carnitine, and we want to be sure that no griefers can get into our beautiful town. We want greater security. We did find a griefer. They had an apartment, not even a plot. Should we even allow apartments in a town, so vastly expanded, where control is lacking? And it's not the Mayor's fault. It's ours. Every member to arms with griefers. Let's keep Carnitine open! Supporters of our campaign, named "New Carnitine", will promise to: Report any griefs found immediately to the Town. Aid the town whenever possible. Conduct appropriate and thorough searches when accepting new members into the town to ensure that griefers do not come in. Help the town fund the reconstruction of griefs through money, time or resources. Warn and support members of the community should a griefer grief them or be in a position to do so. Be active in the town and visit on at least a weekly basis. What can happen if demolition and closure proceeds: Loss of property, land, time, money and resources to every resident and to the Town. Loss of public farms and utilities. Loss of an active and welcoming community. Loss of a great town, with a town portal, beautiful roads and beautiful plots, for a griefer's mistake. So it rests in your hands, citizens It will all be gone. Your plots, your time, lots of items. This is our one and only chance to prove the Mayor and the Town Authority that we can be better than this, and we can truly make Carnitine glow like the moon in space. We can make Carnitine start. Today starts a new day, a new Carnitine. Like the yesterday, just a more protective, active and welcoming community. Aux armes, citoyens. To support our campaign, you are more than welcome to reply to this thread detailing your support and your commitment to restoring Carnitine into a better day. Otherwise, you can like or agree with this post. We can fix the damage. We can help our town. We're capable, and we'll do it. Long live! Please, however, remember that we're not asking for a new Mayor. We're not asking for our plots back, or for a refund. It's time we owned up and stated that it was our fault that this happened. All of us, all of us who forgot that the Town doesn't look after us, we look after the Town. We're not going to be going against our Mayor, or our authority. This isn't a revolution, this isn't a revolt, this isn't a civil war. This is a reformation, a restoration, a unity. This is a New Carnitine. And there, monsieurs, finishes our campaign. Let's make the voice of the Residents heard. Let us unify once more, let us prepare today a better day tomorrow. LONG LIVE THE NEW CARNITINE! Posted with complete permission from xX3PICREBELXx. Ok, The town will stay open. Looking at this thread and poll showed me how people do actually care about the town and how people really want it to stay open. I am currently tearing down all the old plots in the town so more plots will be up for sale. I am also looking for a co-mayor so be on the lookout for that. Until then, I just want to say a huge thanks to Matberry for making this thread.
Okay, guys, we've got it open. Let's be true to our promise. Every resident, take your resources and use them to the good of the town. A new Carnitine begins!
Wowzers, i won't what the griefer is thinking right now. Probably this ---> "Lol meh grief launched an entire campaign to re-open Carinitine! Dat was so funneh!"
I am also grateful for this thread, and for the decision to keep the town open. I will help as I can. I have no problem being asked to contribute in any way. This is awesome. "Now we are so happy, we do the dance of joy!"- Balki Bartokomous
Who was the griefer? Izza00? He had an apartment, bought from me. Sorry everybody. I should not sold the apartment to him. It's my fault too? I didn't grief, he did
It's not your fault that he griefed. But you should sell your apartments a bit more expensive, your hotel looks sweet, it was one of the few buildings I really didn't want to destroy.
Oh...Thank you xX3PICREBELXx. It's 4.5k too cheap? how much can is sell for? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- usapresident999-Owner (CEO) of Skyline Group INC.
This is the problem with apartments. Sell over $1,000 and nobody will buy it because for the same prize you could buy a plot. Sell under and you're advertising griefers, and not making much money. Besides, it's easy to make $1,000 now with voting. I would certainly not buy it for $1,000, never mind $4,500. The prices shou0ld also complement the town's prices for plots. Carnitine is a great community, so I honestly believe around the $2,500 mark is a good price for apartments.
