http://ecocitycraft.com/wiki/index.php?title=Server_Rules#Section_XIII:_General_Forum_Rules (I am either blind, or do not see a general/universal rule on bumping... If I am blind and stupid again, I really apologize.) Minecraft Name: MoofinK Suggestion: Add a rule about bumping (time frame between bumps, 6, 12, or 24 hours) and add a little clarity on the necroing rule about bumps (for example; does it apply to every subforum and board, the majority, etc). Reasons: 1) Some subforums and boards have stickies with their own bumping rules, but most do not. I have always been a little paranoid about bumping threads (especially sales threads) - I am sure others have, too - as there is no rule defining how long to wait between bumps, if something should go to the next page before a bump, etc. Some Staff members might think a bump is too soon, for example; others may think it is fine. There should be some general/universal rule addition and clarity. 2) Clarity on necroing... Does it apply to the entire forum, or most areas? I have seen some threads (towns, nations, tutorials, so on) necro'd without any - or much - issue, even though the rule implies the entire forum. So is necroing those kinds of threads okay (tutorials are always helpful, towns are only allowed a few threads each, so on...), or should no thread at all be necro'd? Other Information: Just suggesting some clarity and addition to bumping rules, as they can be fairly subjective at times and some users may get "unfairly" warned, while others do the same "crime" and not get warned, etc.
Bumping a suggestion about bumping... and about necroing... from July. Once again, I hope bumping from this far back is fine, considering it is a suggestion and isn't reviving any dead discussion/issues/whatever. (This is exactly why I made this suggestion, because bumping/necroing needs clarified. :/)
