I searched around for 10 minutes underwater. Then I tried to relog and it still wasn't in my inventory. I was in 1.13.2 Instructions: How many times did you recreate this?: once Result: Expected Result: Evidence: None. I lost it in the first 5 minutes. It's okay. I don't mind. Not expecting any compensation. I'd assume this would really suck for someone who actually put in 120+ hours into gathering the netherstars, so I hope this helps someone in the future.
I did the same thing with a max tri. turns out if it travels outside the loaded chunks without hitting anything it just unloads. if you chase it and load the chunk it went into it will continue it's normal movement. best advice. use gun range smarts. always shoot with a back stop. Hope that helps. also...if you owned it they may be able to help you!
This does happen if you throw it into an unloaded chunk. Do you have the /own #ID? If so pm a ServerAdmin and they'll help you track it down, if it's possible.
It would have to be owned for us to investigate. Also, why in gods name would you throw a star trident far away
I tried to shot a fish about 15 blocks away if that helps. I don't believe it went that far. Unfortunately, I didn't own it.
