I also noticed that if I place the max rod first, than enchanting rod it costs 7 enchantment levels to combine The Result is the same rod. Instructions: Place items to be combined into Anvil Switch items to be combined into anvil into opposite order. Check which is cheaper to enchant. How many times did you recreate this?: once, but it seemed to be consistent. Result: Used 7 enchantment levels to combine Mending and a max rod Expected Result: Not sure if this is right or wrong. If its supposed to be 7 or 21 to do this action. Evidence: I did a print screen of it and forgot to paste it into mspaint before copying the forum.
It is because I’m the first scenario you’re adding the max rod enchantments to another rod. The second one you’re only adding lending to a rod.
