We used to have /afk, but people completely forgot about taking it off, so it was removed. Only way to have any form of afk or brb command is if it broke/disabled itself upon movement (which Essential or some other plugin does, I can't remember.) However, that will cause chat spam. So I don't think this will happen...
Seems like a good idea. You should suggest it on bukkit.org thats where plugin developers look. and moof he meant it in a different way like someone msg's you and the person who msg'ed you gets a message saying brb or afk or something
I know, Kuke. But unless it being removed after movement happened or something, anyway, we likely wouldn't install it. (I honestly suggest people should use /who, /list, /online, etc. more, anyway. :/) Besides.. If you're going away for more than five/ten minutes, why not just log out? You likely won't see what someone told you, since chat tends to be fast.
I am the kind of guy who leaves it open because I want to see what happened (with improved chat and a non working chatlog)
Well, the huge majority of us don't have whatever improved chat thing you use... Pretty sure, anyway. Most people don't even have a texture pack because they don't know how to install those. :b So, for most people, I don't think a brb/afk is needed, you can just logout. -shrugs-
