I advertised my own server by asking some people if they would like to join it and be op. I have fully read the rules now and am very sorry for my actions. @OnSceneReporter, yep, picasso182 is my in-game name. After I was banned I tried to log in a few times, just to make sure that I was banned. It said the name of the person who banned me and the reason. But now it only shows that I am banned by console in red letters.
