Minecraft Username: WallyBean Reason: I did not break any rules. Principle. The person that reported me had no evidence of things he accused me of, I guess we just go on people's word now. He claimed I build a wall on the side of his town, I built a wall in the wild for a building on a small portion of one side of his town, not a full side. Counter-Reason: My friend Chazmeister13 and I were building a cobblestone structure outside a very close to ours, to place trade signs for the many builders that live there to shop at. We had only partially made the building when Chazmeister had a family thing arise and had to go, so I decided I would stop as well until he could play again the following day. We logged on today to see a mail ordering us to remove it, no reason. So I came on the forums hoping for more info and saw we both received temp bans for this, building in the wild and allegations of a town owner that I hate him. Though he does not know why, just a hunch on his part, but hey apparently thats all the evidence we need. The part that puzzles me is, his town members and even he himself, frequently build things in the wild near my town and Chazmeisters that serve no purpose and are just eye sores that we have to go and remove in an effort to keep our area not looking like a wild build portal. Also area he claimed for his town was being worked on by myself and Chazmeister before he claimed it in hopes of putting the town smurfcutta there. Apparently he liked it and claimed it, which is fair and fine, he had the money before we did and it was wild land. I checked the zoning laws and nothing has changed so I am not sure how me building a trade shop in the wild near my town constitutes breaking a rule. I used cobble because its cheap to replace if and when the building is griefed. It will take some time to remove so I am hoping for explanation before I am forced to remove it. At the time of me logging on and making this Glooble is not on for me to speak with on the server or Vent. Evidence: I could post screenshots of mendiboi harrasing me as I made this despite my repeated requests that he not message me if you want.
please put in your reason what is stated when you log into minecraft. also feel free to post a complaint on mendiboi
I am not in a position to speak on behalf of the server staff upon this particular issue, however his counter-reason is very misleading and I don't want the server staff to be mislead. If we both present an argument you should be able to form a more objective position because you will have an account written by both parties. I did not accuse wallybean because of a hunch. I politely asked Gooble to see who built the structure. Glooble told me it was Wallybean and his friend Chazmiester, but he said since it was in the wild he couldn't do anything about it. I informed him that “trolling” is against server policy, so therefore Wallybean “trolling” my town is a criminal act. If you take a look at the structure you can basically tell what he said about it being the future site of a town commercial center is highly unlikely. This structure's purpose is very obvious. He wanted to annoy me and waste my time. I ask you before you absolve Wallybean, please contact Glooble and get his side of this dispute.
Not sure what you are asking for, like, everything I see when I log in? Lot of stuff about news, twitter etc. Perhaps that could be rephrased for me, I don't understand, sorry. If you think it will help I will post a complaint and screenshots. I am not looking for further bans or a rollback, I was intending to build a building, which is why there is more then just a small wall there. Its not finished so its not the prettiest but I am don't want to add more to it if I have to remove it. Also I am not sure how far away from mendi's town I am required to be for building in the wild. Nothing in the zoning laws states that. It says the area between towns is for wild builders. I think if I was to report all of the buildings put near my town or staircases made by members of his town to get into my towns I would annoy the staff quite a bit. So I remove them myself and save myself and staff the hassle of a petty report.

I would love to talk to Glooble before removing this, hence why I left it, that and a lack of time to take it all down and I need clarification on what needs removed, there was more then just a wall we placed there. I don't get how an unfinished building in your opinion will not be something is grounds for banning people and declaring it to be trolling. If I had built, wording stating I hate you or your town, that would definately be trolling. Placing a building in the wild that can be griefed or even torn down by yourself, a waste of my time perhaps but doesn't make it trolling. Also taking a picture of the end of the first wall with an unfinished floor is kinda misleading zeno. The paragraph you copied says "Those who violate this to a heavy extent will be warned several times - if it does not stop, a kick/ban may be put in place." Where was our warning? Instead of asking us what we were doing we were both banned, zero warning.
I'm not enforcing anything I'm just showing what i've been shown. Glooble has carried out what he feels is appropriate for both parties. As I have already said I will not act or comment on anything other than what has been said. If you have issues with mendiboi then by all means post a complaint thread with proof and it will be looked into. Also if you feel unjustly punished then post a complaint about that.. All i am doing is trying to gather the evidence as you posted an appeal. I went looking into it to find you only had a temp ban so this appeal was unnecessary. Now the complaint is another story. Just the facts.... as i've been shown.. I don't mean to mislead. Please post your proof and / or comments.
I need screenshot proof of chats before anything can really be done. And in-general, this is "too messy" for me to do anything... I don't have good proof of either side's story, I don't know what is true and what isn't. If I could safely do anything, I would. :/ tl;dr: I can't remember when your tempban started, but it should lift soon. Please make a complaint thread with any screenshot proof you have, WallyBean, to help get this resolved. Try talking to Mendi in-game, as well (when you get back in). And Mendi, for the future, make a grief report about this kind of "grief"/trolling and explain why you made the report, since it would technically be in the wild. v Main post in spoiler. Spoiler Honestly sounds like both sides are at fault, one pushed another too far, one is misunderstanding things, blame is put in wrong places, words twisted... These kinds of things don't really get handled for a reason, because it is a mess and we can't keep up with relations people have with each other. I've had my town completely surrounded by a wall that took/would have taken about 12-24 hours to remove, another town had the same issue. When a town is fully surrounded from the wild, to troll a town, it's a different story. I can't tell much with Zeno's screenshot (fairly zoomed out), but all the random cobble doesn't look like a wall... I wasn't the one who checked the blocks, either, and I don't know how close to the town it really is. For now I'm going to say to make grief reports when something like this happens. Don't ask for in-game help then make a complaint, as we don't have proof written down for everyone to see. It makes things a mess. I know this is in the wild, but it's right up against a town (supposedly), and is considered "grief" in this case. Sorry if my post is jumbled, but without really knowing what has happened, I can't do much...
