Minecraft Username: Addswerzxc Reason: I was Banned for the Breaking of the Rule Clause I.iii: Advertising There is to be absolutely no advertising in our chat system for any kind of external product, different Minecraft server, or anything else similar to those. Except for explicitly mentioning a different Minecraft server, mentioning things such as external products is permitted. Any advertisement that is allowed on the server in any form (including, but not limited to, in-game related items/trades/store advertisements or personal livestreams that are completely ECC related) must go into our Trade Channel and follow our 3-5 minute rule on repeating. Counter-Reason: I know that i'm at fault here, I sometime play on a friends server, he wanted to show me something extremely bad tonight. I usually delete the server on the Minecraft multiplayer screen so I say i dont have the ip, but he was getting really upset so he sent me the ip. I copied the Ip and then used the "Ctrl V" Command to paste it. After returning to ECC i was going to continue to advertuise for my farm, Not remember and the Advertising becoming such a instinctive thing, I completely forgot.I know I made the mistake and It's 100% my fault. I will never advertise/say anything about another server, I know that's against the rules. Evidence:
Hello there, Thank you for taking the time to create this well-rounded appeal. As you should very well know, here on ECC we have a strict no-warning policy for advertising. Advertising other servers takes away from our user base here and can lead to lost donations which can really cripple the server which is why we have that strict policy. Keep in mind that advertising includes not only saying the IP of a server but also the server's name or a link to their website. While I understand that you had gotten into a habit of CTRL+V'ing you advertisements, I want you from now on to take an extra few seconds to review what you are copying into chat. Additionally, I discussed this issue with the moderator who banned you and they said that you had said "sorry, wc" after posting that message into chat instead of the "Oops" billy mentioned above. Keep in mind that advertising via pm and advertising in any other chat are the same exact things and will face the same punishment if you are caught. Seeing as this is your first offense and you are donating President, I will be issuing you a 3 hour temp-ban for you to catch up on our server rules and to specifically review the rule you broke, advertising, which I have linked in below.
