The ban was issued 14 days ago. A griefing is anything done in a town to access and/or destroy property that isn't in a plot assigned to you. We have logs that we can check to see who placed or destroyed blocks, harvested crops, etc. Your name would not have come up in those logs unless it was your account that was used. Please appeal again when you can admit what you did, and at least apologize for it.
