Reason: Mob trap?

From what i understand mobs arent allowed to be pushed into a certain area using water whatsoever. I in no way used or is able to use water at all. It said nothing whatsoever about leading them into an area themselves. The way i designed my mob spawner, is that they land on glass, then the mobs aggro on my below they go into trenches where at certain angles they can hit me. I have not seen a case where it is illegal nor told after i asked several times in my building of the "trap". I honestly did not see anything wrong and didnt build it knowing it is illegal. I designed a previous spawner similar to this prior the this mining world reset, asked if it was pushing it, but i was told "no it was fine". The certain rule to the mob spawners, as many say, is not specific enough. users who are like me, unaware about how to make mob spawners other then charge into a room where you can die if something goes wrong, see it as unfair. In no way did i intend that this was to give me an unfair advantage over other users. I saw that the way i designed my spawner a nice and convienient way to capture the mobs and kill them. If the mobs ever "suffered damage" it was probably a heart or less. The one flaw about mine is that it is a 2 block drop from where they follow me to where they are held for me to kill them. It was for skeletons, a possible way it would have been counted was if they shot eachother with arrows upon spawning, or they spawn on top of the spawner itself, that is (i think) about 3 blocks away, depending on where they land. I am not saying im innocent, but the way the rule about mob spawners is not specific enough, nor is it set in solid stone so there cant be different views about how the rule is, from mine to the person who banned me to the mod i asked if it was illegal.
