Minecraft Username: Rezonl Reason: Making a door contraption which apparently lags some minecraft clients, and a simple prank that went wrongly. Counter-Reason: After the first public complaint about the doors, I took them down, showing I wasn't 'rebelling' or anything. Secondly, the intention was for it to generate sound, which it did for only about 10 minutes. It was a stupid idea, I admit it, and I won't be doing it again. The next reason is the so called "prank" I did. I broadcasted: "Come to my shop and find the sign that gives you x for x amount of dollars" I created a fake trade sign using the color codes (which was quite obvious to tell as the first line was off centered), however users found their way to the back of my store where there was a donation sign. By coincidence, they were the same amounts, and a total of 5 clicks (5000$) was given to me. However, I believe that this is NOT my fault at all, and people should be informed on how to read trade-signs. Well, I think I should be able to own a spawn station store for 4 reasons: 1. I've learned from my mistakes,won't do it again. 2. You already confiscated my amazing location and I lost 12k for buying the 4 weeks. 3. I lost about 1000+ diamonds, and you sold them to me for 50$ each, which is 1/2 my selling prices, resulting in me losing about 50k, on top of reason #2. 4. You banned me for a week. Isn't that enough punishment? Evidence: n/a
Why would you even make the doors in the first place? You say to make sound; why though? my first impression is that it's simply to inconvenience anybody in the area, thus pushing people away from the market area. Also, it does generate lag for some. And kind of redstone wiring can cause an amount of lag due to block updates. You yourself know how many new people we have. You shouldn't expect with the amount of new people we have that everyone will read and be informed. Also, if people believe that there is only a set amount of money in the sign, do you really think they'd waste time to read the sign when it has the right proportions? I wouldn't. So it's not your fault for trolling the public willingly by pulling pranks and causing disturbance for everyone in the area with the door contraption? Okay.
You took my quote out of context, I said it wasn't my responsibility/fault for people clicking the donation sign. It was a failed marketing scheme.
I sat at the contraption for much longer than 10 minutes once.. It was also going on for days. o.o At least a week, or near so; I think longer. Stopped only when server slowed and lagged, which was days after creation. You got money from the prank, the prank should be over. Keeping the sign there highly implies that you enjoyed people falling for it, and wanted to benefit meanly from their "stupidity." That is wrong, and the sign was basically a scam. It also stayed around much longer than ever needed. @xxemuxx If someone can't see the difference between "amazing" and "stupid," with such a range like that... I'm pretty sure most people have had "amazing" ideas that were completely stupid, but used common sense and knowledge not to go through with them and cause issues for many people. If the thread continues with discussions/much anything, I will have to lock it. Continued discussions turn to bashing and flaming, and people make stupid posts that are pointless and irrelevant. I'll lock the thread soon, anyway, to prevent this. Rezonl, if you haven't already, PM Andrew about this thread. He may not see it for a few days; especially when I have to lock it. It will look "resolved," but this thread needs his review and posting.

Seems like he has learned his lesson to me though even if it took awhile to sink in, can't see the harm in letting him having a shop again although it sounds like Andrew has to make that call.
