Minecraft Username: Koko_chicken Reason of Ban:"Vulgar language/Selling items not in possesion Rule violated: Clause 2 - Vulgarity Inappropriate and vulgar language is not allowed. This includes anything put on signs, said in chat, written in books, renamed to on items (see Section 3 Clause 2.1), spelt out in blocks, or any other way of communicating. Occasional mild to moderate vulgarities that are not directed at anyone (such as "slip-ups" or saying them in the incorrect chat by accident), self-censorship of a swear word or abbreviations that may imply a swear word (ie. WTF?) are allowed unless it is directed at another user. Repeated or excessive swearing, and especially vulgar language directed at anyone, is not tolerated under any circumstance. Racist language or prejudicial language of any sort falls under the vulgarity rule, and is considered a very serious offence, punishment of which may not warrant a warning before being given. Clause 2 - Scamming A general definition of a scam in the context of EcoCityCraft is a transaction in which a user pays for goods or services from another user, and does not receive those goods/services in the agreed upon timeframe. Failing to uphold your end of the deal is scamming, and is punishable by a ban. Your continuance on the server may rely on you following through with your end of the deal, or refunding what you scammed, solely at the staff’s discretion. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: Vulgar language is using inappropriate, unnecessary language to try and harass another player or the server in general. This language should never be tolerated in any situation. Scamming (selling items not in possession) is a fairly punished offence; scamming should never be tolerated as if it is allowed, can bring a server down. Scamming is taking advantage of other players and taking items/money that is not yours. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: I have not played this server or minecraft in general in well over a year, i feel i have matured a lot and would like another chance on the server to add to the already friendly community of ECC and just have fun! Thank you for appealing. Because this ban occurred so long ago I will unban you, but I want to make it very clear how serious a scam offense is here. If you are caught doing anything like this again the ban will be put right back on. It is absolutely not tolerated here and scamming only ends in hurting the user and you not being able to enjoy the server any longer. It is quite unfair to take advantage of people who work very hard earning money and items. They do not deserve to be treated this way. Please keep your word by showing that you have matured upon your return and play fair.
