Well, as you may or may not know, Automatic farming is possible. Now, most people know how to do that, so I will skip to the part that you can do only in MP. Now, since auto cacti farming is gone, the best thing you can do is Auto Mushroom farms, or atleast thats the closet. But, the problem with auto farming is you have to stand at a collection point, and no one likes to do that. But, because of a server feature called /lwc flag magnet [on|off]. This means that any object droped within 3 blocks of the chest with a magnet on it, It will go inside. Now, this is an amazing option as now you can just put the chest at the collection where the water leads to and you dont have to pick it up, as the chest does all that for you! Now, this would of been amazing if cacti was still here, but atleast now you can use it for auto mushroom farms So, how do like the idea?
I like the idea it would take away most of the lag issue with auto cactus (no chance it's coming back tho) and other auto things. This would be a very hard thing to do though and probably take up much of Andrews time.
I don't really Understand how it'd work with Mushrooms. Mushrooms arent effected by light unless the light level is 12(which involves alot of torches, when under ground), and they cant'd be taken out with blocks, as was what happened with cacti, to my knowledge. You'd have to do the water yourself.
I saw the design, and it is close to Auto farming but it isnt Its an auto harvest from what i can gather
Ahh arb, maybe. This is something that generates a decent amount of money when properly created. So, not a lot of people would want to share it to the public
Could someone expain some things for me? Why cant we do cactus farms, and how wont they work? How do you make a mushroom farm?
