Asgard Mayor: Horus22 *Note the town is currently being built, so applications are not being accepted at the moment apart from users who are helping out with construction* TOWN INFORMATION: Asgard, will be a themed town based around Norse Mythology, the houses are being built around the mountain of Hindfell where, upon the summit, the mansion of the mayor is situated. The housing and amenities take advantage of the natural landscape and there will be meandering paths and streams throughout the town. The plan is to have a mini economy where there will be traditional jobs for town members, for instance a town miner can sell coal and iron to a blacksmith who can sell armour etc to town members, these are still being worked out but as of now the jobs may include: Architect: Build new structures for townspeople Miner: Mine and sell ores etc: Blacksmith: Make and sells tools and weapons Apothecary: Make and sell potions etc Baker: Make and sell baked goods etc Enchanter: Make/repair enchanted items etc Fisherman: Fish in the town lake, fish or cooked fish can then be sold to the provided fisherman signs. There will be specific shops/buildings created for these purposes that can only be rented from the Mayor PUBLIC AMENITIES: Community 100x100 melon farm: open for all town members personal use. Orchard: where wood can be farmed, upon provision that trees are replaced. Shrine to Loki, the trickster god and the god of fire: Leave offerings or donations, which will be occasionally redistributed to citizens for good service to the town. LOCATION: Entrance to the town can be found via the Eastgate (located at: -2204, -3270, 65) or Northgate (located at: -2304, -3370, 65) There will also eventually be a portal to the main world spawn located on the second floor of Asgard town hall. TOWN RULES: 1. Griefing: Griefing will not be tolerated within the town, if members are found guilty of deliberate griefing, they will be banished immediately and all belongings including housing, chests and contents will become the property of the town, with the Mayor distributing amongst town members as he sees fit. There will be no refunds available to anyone guilty of griefing offences, although you can appeal via a PM to the mayor or a post in this thread (see below for details), if you think the ban is unjust. 2. Property: There are no plots for sale within Asgard, empty properties are up for sale for Residents+, and the price and House number will be visible on a sign above the door, building externally or digging down below property is strictly prohibited, there are community amenities below ground and building structures that are not within the aesthetic of the town will not be allowed, however, you may hire an Architect for this purpose and apply for planning within this post. 3). Town Community fee: before becoming a full member of the town, you will need to pay a Community fee of $500, this is non refundable once you have acquired a property (this fee may be waived at the discretion of the Mayor in certain circumstances, for instance if the member is helping with town construction etc.) upon paying the fee you are free to look around the town and request viewings of properties by contacting the mayor, upon completion of sale, all doors/chests will have permissions removed and you can then make them private once you have been officially added to the town. 4). Be Nice: Respect your fellow town members, there will be occasional court hearings to deal with civil matters, the Mayor or Acting Judge will have final say over all matters that relate to town issues and as an active member of the town, you must respect these decisions. 5). Scamming: There will be no scamming or deceiving fellow town members for monetary gain, this is a banishable offence. 6). Keep it clean: No Swearing or using insulting/racist language to other town members, remember that there are children on this server and we'd like to keep it a pleasant experience for all. 7). Theft: Theft is not allowed under any circumstances and breaking through walls etc is strictly forbidden, however if a chest/door is left unlocked I doubt that there is anything we can do to demand property is returned, please ensure that ALL your doors and chests are locked! 8). Using Donation Features: There is to be no use of the water/pyro features without authorisation from the Mayor, likewise any use of Ext Creations will not be tolerated without prior permission being granted if being used by an Architect or the Mayor, any other feature that will destroy/alter property is a banishable offence.. Failure to follow any of these rules will result in a ban with no refunds.
