To begin, I take responsibility for all actions and events that occurred on my account. For that, I am deeply sorry. The rest of my appeal includes excuses and reasons for my actions, which cannot be reversed or changed. Here is what happened. As I have stated before I have 2 minecraft.jar folders. One is clean and has CJB and optifine. The other one has a hacked client which I will not name here. Before my ban occurred, I was messing around with my friends on a private server, and I had my hacked client installed. After playing on that server I always used to change out my minecraft folder to the clean one. However, my laziness and overconfidence got to me, and I didn't. So, my little brother (9 years old) who I sometimes let use my account to play with, went on the only multiplayer server on my list: ECC. Sadly, when I had logged out of my friend's server, among other hacks, one called "auto fish" was enabled. What this does, is let the user go away from the computer, and fish. I had /repair powertooled to my fishing rod, so it never breaks. To be honest, I had left to go to a friend's house, and have no idea how long I was doing this for. But what I do know, is that I got banned for AFK fishing, which I did. I sincerely and humbly apologize for what occurred on my account, and I assure all members of ECC that it will not happen again.
So, there is the basic outline of what happened. However, I want to share my emotions after I saw the red text: Banned by jetscat for: AFK autoclicking. At first, I was stunned and could not believe it. And then, my mind started putting the basic facts together, and I realized immediately how stupid and idiotic I had been. I soon asked my brother a couple easy questions, and it was obvious he was the one that logged on. Nothing more, nothing less. An innocent act by an innocent sibling can lead to sadness, anger, and what felt like being stabbed in the heart.
Lately, after not being accepted as staff, I made it my personal goal to try my hardest to complete that goal of becoming a moderator. I expected bumps in the road, but not the road stopping and my car falling off. I had put my immature and ignorant times behind me. I had tried to do what was best for the server. I had spent hours reading the forum, to really understand what this server is about. All of this, was a waste. One lazy choice between switching out my minecraft folder, and not, determined by future on this server. And for this mistake, again I am humbly sorry.
As for my punishment, I accept the ban, temp-ban, or whatever in-game punishment I receive. I may be ostracized and ignored, and I will take that as it's my fault. If you want to unban me, that's fine and I thank you for that. However, I am asking for at least a temporary ban, so I can make sure absolutely nothing happens like this ever again. Maybe in a year or two, my dreams of staff can come true, if I stay true to my word. And I will.
