Unfortunately these are private chat trade offers and not auction bids. note offers. if you had done this in trade chat he would have been in the wrong, however in this case it looks to me like he accidentally offered more money than he had, Not for an auction bid. I will have a talk with him about checking his balance however. sorry about that :\
