I was banned for "trolling and disrespecting others".
Counter-Reason:
A mental deficiency is genetic. He proves evidence himself that it is within his family. Proving that I was not incorrect to make the point I made. I spent 5 years nursing the disabled and elderly. And I feel that there is nothing wrong with having a learning disability so my approach can often be quite direct. Had the member have told me they took offense to my mere asking (that admittedly could have been phrased nicer I was just typing fast - and evidently somewhat carelessly) I would have acted differently.
And not once in the (short) conversation did I say that having a learning difficulty was a bad thing - I did not even insinuate it. I was being nosy; not trolling or disrespecting others. This conversation was massively taken out of context. And the screens he has shown are quite deliberate to make me look worse than I am. :(
Evidence:
I did not take screens because the screens shown were amidst a long conversation where the person never once addressed the question I asked nor stated that they did not have any learning difficulties OR EVEN that they took offense that I was so upfront with it. I was not aware I was being insulting I can't read minds. And I never said any put downs or said it was a bad thing. As you can clearly see in the screens I ONLY ASKED. He could have told me that he was offended and I would have apologized sincerely and withdrawn my question.

Mezri; I have read the complaint and this letter and knowing you semi-personally I know that you meant only to inquire and not to disrespect him. I remember you saying you worked in healthcare and I can see you having a certain degree of interest in the topic. You are not like an average player on ECC that would make fun of a mental disability purely for the sake of being a troll. I think there has been a huge misunderstanding. I support your unban 100% and I know that you take utmost care not to hurt other peoples' feelings. There was misinterpretation in the chat and I think that is the extent of the problem. Those factors can range from drug use or nutritional deficiencies to poverty and cultural deprivation.
My mother had a premature birth and my sister did not develop right. That is not genetic. -
Just be aware of the others around you, because you have no idea anytime what your getting yourself into. Also: I can only see whats on the screen shots and not what else he said or any of the rest of the conversation, he did not mention to any of us while it was going on live, then a different approach would have been made. The reason for trolling is because even though you may not like the price he is asking its his choice to make a price for anything. He is risking it himself whether he wants to sell for 1 penny or 1 million dollars. From the screen shots it didn't look like he had any time to explain and you continued with the mental disabilities.

I NEVER said you had "mental retardation" I actually find that highly offensive and I think it's important that we move away fro terms that are derogatory like that - right away! I asked if you had a diminished capacity which might sound offensive but I don't believe there is anything to be offended by. I grew up with a learning difficultly (which was a diminished capacity) and it is actually what lead me to nursing.
Yes; biology is fickle by nature there are some things we know about the human body. Such as: only one organelle within the human body needs oxygen. And if our mitochondria could learn how to produce ATP without the need of it, we would not need O2. Another thing is that a child's genes are two sets of their parent's DNA - from conception. So if your mother had some mental limitations, there is a probability that it got passes to you.
I wish you had of said that you were offended. You never even insinuated that you took offence to my question - that was never an accusation nor an insult. As I said, I grew up with diminished capacity and I learn how to deal with it and overcome it. But not all people get to learn how to overcome their own short falls. :/
I actually know a few things I could teach – not saying that you're lacking as you are at all! If you're happy as you are then never mind. I'm just pretty comfortable with biology and I dabble in neural science. -

If there is ever a next time when you are slightly aggravated and getting in to an argument, take screen shots of every thing so it cannot be taken out of context. I am not saying you were right in what you did, you did seem to be trolling the other user which was not acceptable.
