Minecraft Username: I2eptar Brief Description: Basically when i combine a few items on my anvil it will say that it takes x amount of exp then almost always takes double Instructions: When putting two items into a anvil to combine them the exp will drop significantly more than what it stated. How many times did you recreate this bug?: A lot, enough to get my lazy but to fill a report out about it. Jk, i contacted phys before filling this out to make sure it was in fact a bug then had to catch it on screenshot. Result: In one of the instances it was taking the exp that it stated but not giving me the item that was supposed to be created. The other instance that was caught I had 34 levels of exp and it stated it would cost 13 then in the second photo i have none and you can see the time stamp in the corner of the screen from the screen shot right before i clicked the combined tool. Expected Result: Taking the right amount of exp from me Evidence: This is where it took too much exp This is it taking exp without giving me item ( just eating my exp)
1.8 Clients have issues with anvils, this is due to them using the new exp system client side, and the server still using 1.7.10. Simply use a 1.7 client until the server is updated.
Ok, sorry I was having a brain fart for a second. I am running 1.8 so i will go and find a 1.7 version
