Minecraft Username: EtherealSquid Brief Description: when using /2fa for the first time, you are given a map which contains a QR code to connect with an authentication app. However, this map only is placed in your inventory when you are on the skyblock or archive server, on mains/lobby/etc (all servers which are 1.15.2, I assume), you get the message but no map. Instructions: Be on main server without 2fa enabled (or with it removed, in my case) use /2fa to get a new map for your authentication The message that they have given you a map will appear, but no map will be placed into your inventory Swap to skyblock server use /2fa again Observe as a map with your QR code is placed in your inventory. How many times did you recreate this?: 5 times. Result: No map inserted into your inventory when on mains, but a map will be placed in your inventory on skyblock. Expected Result: A map will be placed in your inventory regardless of what server you are on. Evidence: This message appears, but with no map to accompany it on the main servers. I cannot post a video with the map being inserted (on skyblock) as that would give away my authentication key.
This has been temporarily fixed, however it will occur again in the future. A more permanent solution will be found as soon as possible. Do let us know when it occurs again. In the meantime, if you find yourself stuck and needing a map, you can always switch to a server which does not present this bug, as the /2fa feature is network wide and it does not matter which server you set your /2fa on.
