I'm surprised it still lets you make threads to be honest. I'm sure there will be more who come and go here, so i figured id make a thread to write something for those who come to see. Many, many years has passed since AEM went down. Lots of time. How are you? What are you up to nowadays? Anything you're looking forward to? Hell if you want, write a memory you have from the server. Say whatever you want. Someone will read it. Eventually.
One of my favorite memories was talking to Alex in a skype call and he was putting me on the staff team. He made me a Helper first but only for like a minute, he changed his mind and went ahead and made me a moderator so I got to pretty much skip being a helper, lol. I enjoyed talking to him back in the day and worked my way up the staff team until one day we were talking and so many staff members kept coming to him for every little thing, so I offered to take on the role of Head-Admin and manage the staff team. Sullear was so mad lol. Eventually I thought it would be cool if me and Pokeball had different names for our rank since we were over all the staff for every server on the network, so I created the rank of Manager and he and I oversaw all 10 games across the network. It was such a fun time and felt great to oversee so many players and pop on to each of the games and watch players in vanish while they played SkyWars or Kitpvp, or Zombies, or any of the other awesome games we had. I nostalgia hard for it lol. It was a great community, but I have come to really enjoy being on ECC. It is also a great, tight-knit community and very friendly. I try to be a part of that and help everyone that comes on the server. Skyblock will come back again some day so maybe more people from AEM will return then. I wish you all well and hope to see you on ECC some time.
Realized i forgot to even answer my own post. Fav memory is when one of the moderators/admin was retiring (their name eludes me, i just remember they used to be in the pvp arena alot) and they stopped by my island and talked to me for abit and told me about how i was one of their favs, really meant something to me cause i thought they were cool. Though i remember most of the staff being pretty chill. As for how im doing and what im up to nowadays? Doing better than i used to be. It feels like though things changed many things still stayed the same. i mean of course being an adult now instead of like a 13 year old and having to like work but i still play minecraft among other things. As for what im looking forward to? Im looking forward to July, it'll mark my 2nd year of being on HRT, so thats exciting.
