Wondering if anyone else is having voting troubles? Whenever I vote, my sister is unable to because it says she "already voted today" when it was me who voted. We have separate accounts and separate laptops so its not that that's causing this. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix it?
It's happening because the voting sites record your IP adress. Since you are playing in the same house, you share the same router and IP. I would suggest that one of you vote one day and the other the next. In my house, I vote for myself at home and my son at work or use my cell phone to vote for him so we don't have the same IP.
Doesn't matter if you have separated computers. You vote using the same IP Address. What i suggest: Okay so since you guys are using the same IP address, one of you would have to vote through your phones with of course, the wifi off so it uses a different internet which means a different IP Address. This works for me as I have someone staying over my house voting in Minecraft as well.
It's because you two are on the same IP address. Most voting sites watch for that as well. Nothing can really be done about it sadly, to my knowledge at least.
