transforming spawner?

    So I bought a cow spawner from the shop yesterday and logged out. Today i got on and its called a monster spawner, instead of a Cow Spawner. Im not sure if i place it down, it would not be a cow spawner anymore. Can a staff replace the spawner from my inventory with a cow spawner?

    i think its called a monster spawner but its actually a cow spawner im not sure

    but im afraid if i place it down, i wont have any evidence that i bought the cow spawner, cause if you go in singleplayer creative and give yourself a spawner using the ID, itll be a pig spawner naturally

    Just place it its still à cow spawner it did that for me to. Once u place it and Pick it up it will say cow spawner.
