I put about $150 into town bank last night before logging off to cover the $88 upkeep cost. After the initial $4000 start-up cost, I had about 4 people in my town and has the maximum amount of plots alloted for that many claimed. I am quite upset by this and would like to know how to avoid this in the future, as do many others. Please help, thanks. -PoeticNinja

I'm sure you're aware, but there is a towny glitch with the bank balances. They reset to about 25$ after taxes and rents are collected. Taxes and rents are collected at around 12 PM EST, so you can plan accordingly. What you did was fine, but you should also take into account the fact that taxes also come into play here, so putting just enough to cover taxes would be ideal.
Tech, my taxes were at 0.0/0.0%. I was not aware, however, that if a town member is online after the reset, the town gets deleted if there is no money in the bank. I am far from pleased with this, as my survival experience is now on hold until the issue is resolved.
