What do you think about the internet. As you know many people have their own opinions on it. Some don't like it others worship it. Personally I'm in the middle of the feud because I have meet many amazing inspiring people here but on the other hand have witnessed the horror of cyber bullying and nobs. Of course not many people of the 21st century might agree (not all of them) because they were raised in a different manner but everyone must agree slightly that the internet is a wonderful creation. Connections, chances and friendships are gained everyday with this invention. But what do you think? (btw I have never posted a toll so I have no clue what im doing.)
Well I agree on it allowing us to bond from all over the world, connections and such but the downfall would be that people might get addicted, You an be whoever you like on the internet, different personalities, change or edit your looks, but once you start you can't stop. Those socially active might begin to get lose themselves, I know I have. Some may turn into introverts, lose sense of communications in the real world, Well basically if you don't know how to manage, Internet can turn you to someone you're not. It can do scary things yet without it who knows what the world would be like. I don't like how when you do go out, you see everyone just blindly walking around staring into a phone. Yet we need it to communicate with people. Most people search up scenery but not notice them when they walk by. I just wish they could put aside technology at times, take a deep breath and appreciate nature before tech destroys it all.
Point taken, I do enjoy going outside to explore, shoot or just enjoy the wonderful creation we take for granted
My feelings for the internet generally points towards the like side of it, primarily because I like surfing around the net for genuinely interesting stuff to read, things on politics, science, technology, history, news etc. I like it for its massive, almost infinite, reservoir of compiled knowledge, whether it is real or fake, I like it for its entertainment purposes, watching videos/movies etc and I like searching up funny jokes to giggle at when its midnight. Though on another somewhat related note that borders also on technology, I do think this to some degree makes me feel ashamed, this video I watched today and its honestly all too true even for myself.
I am personally in the middle, since I do take advantage of the Internet for many things, but I've seen some bad things as well. It's great for many things, but like everything, it has its downsides.
The internet.. well bonds are made, but they can change. And its healthy to create bonds with others face to face.. I'd say it doesn't matter if you create bonds online or not.. what matters is that you do not rely on the internet to fix your issues for you. We have a body and a mind for a reason.. use them wisely.
