I used to have a thread about how to post a staff application, but since that was remade and locked,
I'm going to make a FAQ Thread to answer all your questions you have about applying for staff !
You can ask your questions and I'll add them to the thread.

Q: How do I apply for Staff ?

Q: I am getting "You have insufficient privileges to post here" when I try to post a staff application, how do I fix this?
A: If you have not clicked the above link, the reason why you are unable to post a staff application is because you do not meet the requirements.
You will need 10 forums post/replies. Spamming for counts for the sake of applying will review badly on you. We are watching your postings.

Q: How long does it take for my staff application to be read/replied ?
A: There is no time limit to reading your application, when staff are needed, they would go through the applications again. They will not reply to it as it'll be discussed privately among the crew.

Q: How do I know if I am rejected?
A: If your application has been rejected, you will see this :

If you do not see that and have waited for weeks to months, it doesn't mean it's rejected. It also doesn't mean it's considered.
We will look through your application if you caught our interest in game.

* If you spam a staff member to look at your application, you will be denied.

Q: If my staff application was rejected, can I submit a new application?
A: It brings me much pain to say this but I would encourage you to not do so. There are reasons why they were rejected, it isn't because you aren't good enough rather, you do not meet the requirements we are looking for. Perhaps you could show us in game that you are capable (without bragging or seeking our attention to prove to us) of helping others as you are currently (without a staff rank) and we may ask you to file a staff application.

Q: Can I make more than 1 Staff application?
A: No, they do view it and bump it if they think yours should be viewed so do not make more than 1 app. *Edit* We would appreciate if you only made one, however you can make it once a month/once every few months (It's not encouraged)

Q: What happens if I made a mistake in my staff application, can I submit a new application?
A: Yes, but we highly recommend that you review your application before submitting to not come out as a careless, impatient person and so on. First Impression matters.

Q: Why does it say I do not have permission to post a staff application?
A: If you have not viewed the link above, it's because you do not meet the requirements.

Q: What are the requirements to apply for staff?
A: You need to (We would prefer you to be):

Helper rank is back!​

1. Be 15/16 years old to apply for Guide rank.
2. Be 15/16 years old to apply for Helper rank.
3. Be 18+ to apply for Mod rank.
4. Need at least 10 forum post/replies to be able to submit a staff application.
5. Must have Teamspeak and Skype

• Chances that you're under 18, you would most likely remain helper but in some cases you may be promoted up.

• Here are the ranks: Guide < Helper < Moderator < Admin < Manager

Q: If I get accepted as staff, does this mean I'll be staff on all servers?
A: No you will not, if you are accepted, it will be on the specific server you have applied for. You will also be added to our staff chat where we will discuss every staff issue going on.

Q: Am I allowed to spam replies/post to get 10 post/replies to submit?
A: This is obvious, no. We will check if your post are meaningful and helpful to players.

Q: Can I just ask a staff to make me a part of their team?
A: No, asking to be staff is a straight reject/mute. Asking staff to read your staff application is also a straight reject. Please be patient.

Q: Where do I submit my staff application?
A: Over at https://aemservers.net/apps/staff/ . Do not make a thread for it on the forums.

Q: How will I know if someone sees my app?
A: You can see how many views you have by checking your staff app.

Common Sense should be used when making a staff app.

If you made it wrong, it should be fine to post another but please look through your application before submitting to reduce spam post.
It would make the appeals easier to read.

 

Yes but please, again, review your own application before submitting.
You do not want to represent yourself as someone who is careless, impatient and so on.
